Default SP New Game Idea

Hey all, very recently ive been playing Harpoon and Jane's Fleet Command and though to myself, what if similar sort of conflicts could be done within the WinSPMBT engine. Thus you would be commanding a Battle Group of a variety of ships for every nation against your opponents. Each ship would have a respective armament, i.e. a light missile frigate would be armed with tomahawks stingers etc. Also, each vessel would take more than one hit before it got completely destroyed, and damage to ships would be represented in a variety of setbacks, such as reduced MP or unavailability of firing functions due to the destruction of a fire control room.

Ive been pondering about this idea for a while and its still in its early stages, but i was wondering if any of you guys know where i can obtain a Unit editor and creator (like a draw tool) which can be used to design the ships, and also a game code editor in order to adopt the WinSPMBT engine to realistically incorporate modern naval conflicts. If any of you guys have any idea on this, or would like to express your opinions regarding this idea, then please do so.
