Generating more moons for game

I'd like to generate a map with more moons on the planets. I know a while back that there was something mentioned about that. I think it was just a matter of changing one of the .txt (SystemTypes.txt) files? I just want to do a one time map generation from within the game startup menu. I just want the game to use the default planets for this so I'm not looking at a mod.
