Player Notes:**
THis battle is suitable for a 2 player game. If played solitaire, take the uSMC side.**
As leader of 2nd Platoon, Lima Company, 8th Marines, you have just taken out an enemy observation post. Now you must get your men back safely to a rendevous point and hold it. This is the point where you will join up with the rest of your battalion.**
This battle only covers the movement from the attack on the enemy OP to the rendevous point. It does not include the arrival of reinforcements.**
Historical Background:**
During the battle to clean out Fallujah or insurgent control, the 2nd Platoon of Lima Company of the 8th Marines sneaked south of Highway 10, the east-west highway in the center of Fallujah. Once the mission was accomplished,**
insurgents were aware of their presence and were determined to wipe out the US force. Thus the Marines were forced to fight their way through the district in order to reach the highway where they would join up with the rest of the troops of their battalion. It was going to be a hard fight to get there.**
