In very short and concise sentences:
Oblivion crashed every 15-30 minutes.
Read a FAQ recommending uninstall of SF to fix Oblivion.
Uninstalled SF.
Oblivion does not crash.

In an even shorter description of events:
Oblivion crashed.
Uninstalled SF.
Oblivion does not crash.
