Not a bug but a feature:
The +protection effect from the earth bless only affects troops that have armor.

The toads have no armor, so they get no extra protection.

Cool that you bought Dom3 btw. Willing to become a blitzplayer too? Imho Dom3 is even more designed for blitzes as the ultimative mp modus to play Dominions than Dom2
