Red Army = most effective force !

Regarding soviet MBTs in the game: I can´t believe they don´t pack TIs until 1993..I know there's always Mobhack but, is that historically accurate? That´s an important soviet handicap against NATO tanks during the 80´s, so I don´t know if it´s "the" most effective army in the game.....I keep playing as the ruskies anyhow.
