Auto Save

It appears that autosave is performed after all AI players process. Given this games propensity for hanging while processing after player moves wouldn't it make more to sense to save right before it starts processing the end of turn? At least that way a human player wouldn't lose everything he spent time doing right before hitting end turn. If I have to manually save before hitting end turn at least allow me to toggle on a warning to ask me if I want to save. Food for thought.
