I see my scout's reports of soft-bodied scholars living on the far side of the forest were correct. A raiding party of jaguar warriors should be able to assess the suitableness of their blood as an offering to the awakening true god. Should their blood prove too thin to be suitable, their pale, white bellies will spill entrails onto the burning altars such that we may bind the infernal legions we will use to crush our more formidable foes.
