Bug in 1.13 or am I being stupid....

Hi all,
the placement of units in the simulator seems not to function anymore in 1.13.
Tested in 1.08, I clicked on the unit, green square below and could move it.
In 1.13, red square, no selction/movement on grid possible.
Ideas anyone ?
Btw, how to test fighters in the simulator. They always get placed without supplies and ordnance, as of this they always retreat. Thanks.
