Shere / Ringworlds in SEV

I tried to construct an shereworld today , but it didn't ork.
So can somebody please explain me how to acomplish this in SEV.

I constructed some 2000 kt bases with the core/cable and plating components next to an 1 star system, but didn't work.

please help ?!!??
