Tactics and Correct use of Scouts ?

Great answers, and this is growing to another great thread I hope we can continue to discuss this subject and more people add their tactics and thoughts.

How about OP aircraft ? I've been using them a few times but they keep getting shot down by enemy AA. This means that you have to actually put those AAG out of commission before you can actually use the planes for you're advantage, however since AAG often are placed behind the lines you'll probably won't have much use of the planes in the beginning of battle at all. Anyone got any hints on using these ?
