SP Mental attack questions

[Saxon]

Small problem, perhaps you can help. The message says something like “Saxon was killed by a mental attack.” It is a big map and I don’t know where Saxon was. Any way to link to the location? I do have a few astral mages, but as EA Ulm, they are all in one location associated with a (formerly) independent province In this game, I have a fair number of mages on the road and a couple of research centers, so I can not assume they are hitting my capital. Or should I just protect the research centers?

This is like searches. It tells you that you found a gem site, but you can only click on the commander, who is sitting in a lab somewhere. I don’t know a way to go straight to the province in question.
