Making notes on a map - suggestion

It would be nice if one could leave notes to one's self on the "strategic" map and on the "tactical" map - reminding you of exactly where the enemy's main planets are, for example, so you don't have to keep a unit in the enemy's home system in order to view this...

Or is this already possible?
