Hmm. Well, I just got my mod finished to the point that I think it is presentable. funny, tho, gold just came out and I feel a strange craving to spend the next few months updating it.
sigh.
I am going to post it anyway, because i would like some feedback before putting more effort into it. this is what its all about:
Tweaked shipsets-changed praetorian and sallega sizes because it seemed their cruisers were the size of most destroyers
Added new race + ship set (sort of..hehe)
Ditched temporal tech, replaced with arcane tech, converted Xiati to arcane tech
Converted Psychic tech to intel whizes, plus some old stuff.
Massive tech tree conVersions, ground combat redone, most ship sizes altered, integrated tech trees (for example physics 2 now allows you to learn phased Versions of energy weapons, not a new tree, stealth armor requires armor 4 + chem 2, dah dah dah)
Added new techs, killed some techs, added new components, facilities, etc...
changed mounts slightly.
tweaked racial ai's...races like to get some Messages but not others, for example asking krill to attack makes them think highly of you, while asking praetorians to cease an attack improves relations. message files for each races now reflect these changes, so the krill will immediatly warn you out of their space..
modified the races to use certain strategies more.
redid planet sizes and asteroid mining, but still werkin out the kinks in those.
a bit more, here and there, but I think its worth a look at this point.
only one thing...can I upload it to shrapnel games, or do i need to put a link in a message to my site and allow DLing that way?
