Scen 186 Rommel Strikes Back
Greetings all,
I see this scenario (V2.5CD) uses the Tetrarch Lt. Tank Mk. 7.
According to the Armour in Profile booklet (No. 11) on this tank by Peter Chamberlain and Chris Ellis it never served in the desert: "In July 1941 consideration was given to sending some to the 8th Army in the western desert, who at that time were in desperate need of tank reinforcements. However, the original, prototype engine cooling system had been simplified for production vehicles and this made it unsuitable for tropical use and the scheme was abandoned." However the Tetrarch still served in Russia and Madagascar in 1942 and most famously in the airborne role in Europe.
