Priests in communion kill slaves gauranteed. BUG?

Give a communion master matrix stone to a lvl3 priest, or rather, give it to two priests on the same battle and watch your priests kill your communion slaves as they cast 4 smites and banishments each per battle round.

This has to be a bug. While I enjoy my priests casting many times in one battle round, it not only adds fatigue to the communion, it kills them fast. I thought priest spells are 0 fatigue!
