It sounds like this: I'm the painter, I see it so. Usually given than someone says that in reality something doesn't look like what was drawn. Also quite usable for writers.
As for your mod, you asked for opinions. If you meant from the beginning that something-or-other was never meant to be in your mod, it would be better if you would list these from the beginning.
And about no place for this discussion - possibly you would kindly list THE place for it?
