Whoops, now I see another mistake in mine: my initiative bonus is just 1, since you don't add 10 to it as a base. But you all knew that which is why nobody mentioned it.

The extra 5 HP comes from his Toughness feat.

Fighters don't get Plate armor proficiency as a free class feat like Paladins do. Weird, but true! Scale armor doesn't bog you down as much anyway: it gives you the -1 speed for heavy armor but doesn't interfere with any Skill checks.

You still don't need any torches, since we have the breaklights (sorry, sunrods) and I have a cantrip that gives about as much light as a torch anyway as a minor action (plus I can attach it to a target up to 5 squares away from me.)
