Can't invade - again !

Is there a follow up bug with the invasion issue ?

I have patched with the latest updae available on this site

... But now, in a situation where -say- I throw all available jap BBs, BCs and CAs at Singapore together with a SNLF unit and run a mammoth surface battle with allied forces which take a beating and then withdraw (day 3 or so).. the battle just ends.... no message at all... the invasion fails and the SNLF disappears ...

Why ?
