Hovercraft class question

Only used once before but now I am using a bit I was wondering if they are exempt from "sticking" Proving very handy for ferrying across streams on present map without finding a ford which I suppose would be a likely use so they have some tactical merit even after landing, handy in the swampy area on present map to as normaly try to avoid.
