Default Re: Question about PERMANENT elemental summons

Is it ?
I would rather use a tier 3 mage for one turn than a tier 1 mage for 10 turns or 2 tier 2 mages for 5 turns. I think time is very important, more so than gems.
In general, i believe upgraded spells (= same summon, but more) should have slightly higher cast requirements, much higher research requirements and considerable higher gem cost. But unfortunally there arent many examples in the stock game. Apart from Crossbreeding and Summon Wight there are no upgraded rituals.

Let cut straight to the case.

lets say Summon Air Elemental costs 3 Gems, summons 1 dude and has requirement Air 2 Astral 1, what would YOU suggest as requirements/cost for a tenfold effect ? I would say Air 4, Astral 2/3 and 35-40 Gems, so a 25 % gem premium for the savings in time.
Is that really off ?
Im only playing SP, so i dont have as much experience as you guys have.

Im asking this for my crosspath summons mod, i need to balance spells and even more so the actual summons.
In this case, i think Elementals costing 3 gems each is on par with the requirements for Drakes/Wyvern, which are pretty much on par with Elementals (depending on the situation oc).

I would really appreciate any and all comments since it would likely help a lot with my ongoing crosspath summons project.
