Dominions 3 Digital Download or Physical Copy?

Hi,

I just learnt about Dominions 3's existence and now I really want to buy it. Usually I go for the digital download because I'm quite lazy, but I read that with the physical copy comes a 300-page manual: this quite excites me.

I'm quite against boxed games because I think it's not the future of pc gaming, it's a waste of space... but the manual entices me!

Opinions?
