M3 Carbine

Considering the Germans get Infra red equipped units, how about adding this for the Americans? It is basically a fully automatic M1 Carbine with an infra red sight. It was first used during the battle of Okinawa, so it would show up in April 1945 in the US Army (not Marine Corps) TOE. Perhaps equip a special 2 man scout team with it and give it IR capabilities?
