That was really fun to play, it gets pretty close ranged in there, i feel the germans have an advantage for H2H play, havent tried it, but i flanked the ai easily as the germans(and got a lot of germans coming at my flanks as the french) the center of the battle is the village, as the french i forced a close range fight into rifle grenade range, as the germans i blasted the french away with arty, the germans have mmg's and LOTS of artillery(main reason i closed in for the fight)and they probably tip the balance of H2H play to their side.
At least the germans arent SMG troopers, otherwise they would have crushed the french pretty quickly. Only thing i missed were planes for blitz effect
