Allow me to add my thanks for subbing into what sounds like an intriguingly terrible position, Zywack, and welcome aboard.
Please note: NAPs in Dom3 (a NAP-5, for instance) usually don't indicate a 5-turn agreement not to attack. They usually indicate an indefinite agreement between 2 nations to take no offensive action against each other until one party breaks the NAP. At that time, each nation must wait at least 5 turns before taking any aggressive action (military, magic, or economic). Doesn't always have to be a NAP-5, either... in my experience, NAP-3s are more common.
