Hello everybody,
I'm looking for one or two medium-level opponents, interested in playing a realistic meeting engagement.
I'm able to play between three to five turns a week.
Second Kashmir War
-Summer 1965
-150 x 150 size
-30 turns
-40 vision
-8000 points
-meeting engagement
-Pakistan (me) vs India (you)
First Persian Gulf War
-Fall 1984
-150 x 150 size
-30 turns
-40 vision
-10.000 points
-meeting engagement
-Iran (me) vs Iraq (you)
Some rules
-V-hexes will be placed realistically on a random and custom generated map
-Air: max 10 sorties (this allows for different play styles and the need to have at least some AAA capacities)
-Arty: max 15 % (not included are organic infantry company mortars and support company mortars/howitzers), no off-map
-MBT's: max 25%
-size zero units, only within organic units, or a maximum of one sniper(section) and one recce section/platoon per infantry company. (ofcourse, a platoon of battalion/brigade recce assets is allowed)
-no turn zero bombardments (arty or air)
-no excessive Z-fire (keep it realistic, i.e. only support weapons like HMG's or LMG's within a platoon can be used for this role)
Most important:
I like to play battles, based on realism. So, as far as your knowledge goes, keep your force and tactics tied to this rule...
Let me know if you're interested. Ofcourse, rules are open to debate ;-)
