Need help

In one of my current games two commanders are combined to each other, means I could select only both of them. I can deselect them too, but only both of them. For example, I can´t send both commanders to different provinces.

Assume I´ve activated a hotkey, but can´t find any information on this subject in the manual.

Your help would be much appreciated.
