Hello, my two bob's worth...

Windows 10 has a few memory issues - if you look up "win 10 memory leak" there is quite a lot of info and suggested fixes. Anything stuttery on a modern machine suggests a bug somewhere (obviously!) but as this is a known issue it might be worth following up.
