How am I doing?

Playing my first game in a long long time... first with Gold and first with TDM

I'm wondering if you could all give me an idea of where I am?

It's about turn 2404.4... I have DUC 5, PDC 4, Prop 3, Mines, and Destroyers.

Ok, So far I've mined the hell out of my planets and waypoints... I'm working on moving some population around now. I'm building my first fleet of warships (Destroyers with DUC 5)

I'm researching physics for shields now...

I've got seven systems with 19 planets...

I just ran into my first AI who's sporting around a light carrier... I haven't even thought of fighters yet...

So am I about to get waxed?

I'm in a large map with I guess about 6 players total...

oh, the AI I just ran into was the Toran Confederation and I think the Colonials are around somewhere...
