v1.78 bug?

Ok, now this is kinda wierd. I've got the Matryx modpicker v2.01. I updated to Pirates and Nomads v3.1b, and now Modpicker won't open my savegame. It gives me that "data files don't match" error. No big deal. BUT, I can run P&Nv3.1b from the modpicker, and then load up that same savegame from the intro screen with no problems!

What's up with that???
