I agree - the game was incredible in potential but the AI was non-existant.

I don't understand why game developers don't just remake the great games with new graphics, AI etc.

Xcom, Master of Magic, EOFS etc. I don't need new, or different, just solid. Maybe I need to stop being a pastor with a taste for gaming and learn programming
