Would an apropriate test be to:
Control both sides
Prepare a planet with mines, troops, and weapons platforms
Weapons Platforms with no weapons
Send in a ship that could not destroy all of one type of unit in one turn
?
I could try this tonight.

I have found that troops are hit 1st when they both are on a planet I think they work as an armor

I didn't know this. Are there more components, which have different features depending on where are they placed (ships, WP)? E.g. I think placing ECM on WP has no sence because the planet still has a large diffensive disadvantage.

I think placing ECM on WP has no sence because the planet still has a large diffensive disadvantage. It might make a difference in ground combat when troops are shooting at them. Not that that makes it a good idea to use ECM on them or anything.
