Honestly, its a great idea.
I think that an "atrocities" file that stored all the "evil and bad" things you do would be a tremedous assest to the political aspects of this game.
In addition, I think it would be advantagous to the game if we had positive random events as well. I know this is a tangent idea, but what better place to post it than here?
Right now, all the random events are negative. I would like to see postive random events. IE, you discovered a derelect and gained such and such technology. A planet has produced more than expected. Things like that.
