If not:
Otherwise, it will take 11 or more turns for the Amonkree to get thru there currant research project.
Hence, 11+ turns to redesign!!!
What did you have to change in the the files? that fix was all set for Proportions 2.53!

I went into all planets and dumped troops and cleared Q went 8 turns and looked again and OOPs there it was SO ....HEHE....They gave up

Hi, I just downloaded the proportions mod... and i have a couple questions..
1) Some tech areas says they are a mere formality for the AI... i am suposed to not research them?
2) I just made a colony ship and a starliner, put like 5 engines on each, they say "generate 5 stardard movement" but my ships just move 1 square per turn... is that normal or that is some error ?

You are supposed to research all  PvK created special cheap research areas to help AI programming. These tech. areas contain the coolest planetary facilities !
Proportions is using quasi-newtonian propulsion. Big ships need a lot of "standard movement" points to move. Colony ship can have 8 engines which will generate 2 movements

Also in this mod the colony ships are limited to 3 MAX moves, You get used to the change in times and when you play an UN-modded game you will get lost in the speed

Actually, not  You can select propulsion experts, add gravitic drives and colony ship will fly at speed 5 !
Also, there is a special research area "fast colony ships" if you are so desperate
