Your explorer fired once before being rammed by the orkish "cattle bringerz". What was even more funny was that both ships survived. Completely crippled, but they survided. Even the orkish colonists survived ! The ship had no motors left, no more colony module but the colonists were still alive !

2401.9 The Swedish Nation - Discoveries.

The scientific chief off staff came walking in to Talman Ruatha's office
-I've got some good news.
You know those ancient ruins we found? We'll we found some really nice technology there that we'll start to implement as soon as possibly.
The one with the greatest impact must be in the organic field of research. Imagine, now our farms will produce 900 kilotons of organics each turn instead of the puny 800 kilotons we used to.
We belive we'll soon have enough organic resources to start exporting to our neighbours.
We thought of calling ourselfs "The largest potatoheads in your part of the universe" as a slogan. To get the aliens to instantly think of agricultural goods when dealing with us, and so buying more of it. What do you think?

So, now we just have to find the "Free Democratic Socialist Republic of Bhrzvfbk" and start exporting goods to them, to show them the force of a true captitalistic nation, and make a profit....

The "Frost Collective", "The Peoples' Empire" and the "Alteri Unity" also sounds like they are in need of a capitalistic enlightment, and enabling more profits for the Swedish nation!

It seems likely that the outlook of the Alteri in the universe in relation to other species will be largely determined by the first few species they meet since they currently have no expectations or method for dealing with other races... or any other living thing for that matter.

So will the Alteri become crazy genocidals? Socialists or Capitalists? Maybe pacificsts? Only time will tell...

The aliens had responded to now First Speaker Zyx's message.

"WHAT.... you... Are?" -

- "We are an alien race seeking galactic domination. However, we are a race known for war, but we will make peace when it is needed. We do not wish to fight with your people at this time." -

The Alteri thought on this much. Finally it was agreed as to what most of this meant, despite the many strange and unknown concepts contained within it. The new Alteri Speakers group and their new First, all dedicated to understanding and dealing with new life, composed the response. Their skill in this strange form of communication had increased greatly over the Last few months.

-"To fight is a strange thing. To attempt to harm or slay another thing. We do not understand this desire of yours. We are glod that no harm will come to us."

If the Alteri understanding of these alien concepts was correct an alien race seeking galactic domination was what these new ones thought of themselves. However some thought this was not so and was merely descriptive in nature based on the thought patterns still being analyzed. These argued that this new race was called Rorg. The thing called war was still unknown as was the peace, but it was believe they opposed each other and that war was related to fight, thus it was probably not desirable and peace was. That this new race did not wish to fight with the Alteri people was seen as a good thing though some viewed the addition of "at this time" with some trepidation.

Some believed that a new group of Fighters or Wars was needed to be ready in the event of any "war" or "fight" breaking out. Having never experienced "war" or "fight" though they did not have any First let alone Seconds or any others to follow in.

The Alteri were as of yet still confused and coming to terms with this new life.

First Speaker Zyx felt strongly that a "War" group was needed and that all ships should be ready to use their asteroid destroying devices to "fight" if need be. This was still an unpopular view and with First Speaker Zyx being so young many felt *he was too rash.

*The Alteri don't have gender. He will be used in most instances though in a few she may be used. Whatever is used will be consistently applied to the individual.
