2402.8 The Swedish Nation - Shameful display of incompetence.

The head of the foreign ministery sneaked into Ruatha's office.
"-We haven't heard anything from the Vorlons about that covert war threat you sent them Last month.
But they have responded to an earlier message we sent, and the trade of ships between our two empires has ben completed. We now have access to a gas colony ship.

"-Oh, I see.
Hmm, how do we save this then.
You've really messed things up this time Areld!
You better start thinking of strategies to fix this!

"-But, But...
It was you who told me what message to send!

"-Do you have that in writing? If you don't I urge you to stop making these wild accusations, they can be hazardous for your health.
You'll bear the full responsibility for any actions the Vorlons might take regarding your nasty message to them."

"-I.. I.. I Don't know what to say..
I said it might not be an altogether good idea to threaten them...
But.. but.. as you say... I'd better start thinking up someway to fix this, shouldn't I??

"-Yes, you'd better do that.
I don't want to talk to you again until this matter is taken care of.
You may leave now!"

The head of the foreign ministry left confused and scared, stumbling against the doorpost on the way out.

Ruatha felt the tension inside him rise again.
Why do I surround myself with these imcompetent people. I do hope the Vorlons won't be upset becouse of the misjudgement of Areld, he thought.

What do you think of this?

This gives me a fine idea!
We really need to improve our relations with our neighbours, and I know just how.
Tell the head of the colonization department to leave for these festivities with the katamarans as the official Swedish representative.
And get some **** and place it in a vacumm sealed parcel.
Tell her that it is a gift to the Katamarans that they have requested and that she is to open it at the festivities and present it to them with her own hands.

"-I like the way you think Ruatha.
I'll see to it.
We'll put a filter on her own toilet and use her own disposals, he he he.

"-Yes. This will make everyone happy.
Well, atleast the Katamarans and me, I don't know about Tina though, he he.."

"-Ok, se Ya

"-Bye, and try to arrange for some footage of her on the festivities!"

The head of the intelligence office left without noise, flowing quietly through the offices.

Ruatha sat at his desk with a smile upon his lips.

History of Narrew

900 years ago.

At a local courier outpost.

Phillipi-Hey Jaun! I see Narrew has a run to the Javunk Nebula.
Jaun- Yea, but I am sure he will screw it up some how.
Phillipi-Looks around Uh, we could help him on that chuckle
Jaun-Tell me about it. huge grin
A few hours later
Jaun-laughs He wont know what happened since he will be in cryo.
Phillipi-This is not a regular practical joke, but its funny as hell.
Jaun-Oh well, its not like we are killing him, he's just going to be a bit late.

200 years ago

Narrew wakes up from cryo sleep.
Narrew-Computer, are we on approach to the Javunk Nebula?
Computer-No.
Narrew-Then how come you woke me.
Computer-I need your input on what course to take.
Narrew-Umm, go to Javunk Nebula!!!
Computer-I do not know where that is.
Narrew-WHAT? How the hell can you not know where that is?
Computer-I see no common stars so that I can determine where we are at.
Narrew-Ok, so how did we get out here.
Computer-I do not know for sure. It looks like my navigation system was tampered with and the over-ride on your emergency wake-up was adjusted also.
Narrew-How long have I been asleep?
Computer-700 years.
Narrew-faints
Some time later
Narrew-sighs I hope that information I was carrying was not important.
Computer-I have no knowledge if it was.
Narrew-Never mind that. Ok, I have a new order for you. I will go back into cryo and I want you to find civilization or a planet that I can live on.
Computer-Understood.
