Rojero, you should check out the "King of the Hill" league. It's a good way to get a fast initiation into PBW. You won't be waiting around for a game to start probably.

There's a thread aronund here about it. Or you can check out the league page. I have a link to it in my sig.

1) Start up SEIV, and set up a new game with parameters as described in the PBW game's description.

2) Create your race as you would for playing a SP game.

3) Save off the race as an empire file instead of starting the game (I usually save it as [racename]_PBW.EMP just so I know which one to send).

4) Log on to PBW and access the game you have joined.

5) In the control bank at the top of the screen, one of the buttons will be "upload empire". Click that button.

6) Path to your empire file, highlight it, click OK.

7) Click "Send Empire" under the entry box.

8) Play SEIV at home single-player while you wait for everybody else to do what you just did.
