Babelfish tells me that the phrase says "It went away".

After looking around several Japanese-English Online dictionaries, and after I tried my best to comprehend it, I believe it says something along the lines of "On Hiatus; Thank you for your understanding.".

The Japanese characters say "kiema****a" which translates to "Disappeared".

I speak and read some Japanese, 2 years a university level, 25 years ago, damn I'm getting old, and lived and worked in Japan for about 4 years. I still am hopeless at it. So much for my lame credentials. Anyway:

I think the best current translation of that would be "vanished" past tense. Or, perhaps, more lightly, "Poofed" as in suddenly disappeared, like magic.
