Re: OT: Best D&D RPG Game?
thanks. must remember to think.
but there still isn't anything there about making races/classes, so that question still stands.

Re: OT: Best D&D RPG Game?
Well if I knew I would tell you... I know it can be done, at least for sub-races. I have played with several Online modules that change your character somewhat if you type in Drow as your subrace when you are an elf.

Re: OT: Best D&D RPG Game?
probably a script. just making sure anyone who hasn't seen it won't assume it's been answered. i know you'd help; your helpfull.
i just discorverd a new way to make caverns! just grab the 'corridor' terrian and drag it around! then, you put rooms everywhere you think it looks like there should be a room there. since i'm currently making some catacombs, i don't have to be particularly carefull about where things are, unlike the Last area, which had living quarter's for guards&servants&slaves and one boss - but all that's there now is undead. lot's of undead.
there should be a big 'all equipment dropable' option so i don't have to make custom copies of all encounter monsters.

Re: OT: Best D&D RPG Game?
Ok, I had been on the verge of buying NWN a few months ago but didn't because of real life. This pushed me over the edge. So much for my real life for the next few wks.
Slick.

Re: OT: Best D&D RPG Game?
*if you don't know, don't go hunting. i'll do that tommorrow. just want to knock a few of the list first*
ok, in the module i'm testing, a few skeleton warriors(my own creation) ran out of their crypt and attacked me in another crypt when i was having a battle. that's the listen skill, right? there kinda weak, so if so, increasing that should give a challenge.
my secret door didn't work, i gave it a DC to find(or the will thing) of 1. the range was 5. my dwarf(admittadly, a fighter, but still...) couldn't find it. might that have been the problem?
sometimes, the monster's bodies aren't dissolving and it's getting in the way of spawning. is there any way to manually dissolve bodies?
how do you get a module to end? i want mine to end when i walk through a door.
is there any way to reload a module? the maps are stored in memory, so i have to go all through the earlier stages again if i want to test something new.
i think that's it. and remember, if you don't know, don't hunt just because i'm lazy and want to play.
