Re: The Grudge-Match of Doom - (trashtalk/game progress)
Dear Aunt PBW,
When playing alongside an ally, it can be quite distressing to find that he's almost conceding defeat when the war has hardly started. What does one do in such a situation?
Signed,
Anxious.
-------------------------------------------------
Dear Anxious,
Clearly your so-called ally is not worthy of your talents. I suggest that you mock him mercilessly until he sees reason. If this doesn't work, your only recourse is to change sides and join your enemies in pounding him into dust. Either way, you must on no account allow him to leave the game until his Last planet has been nuked into a small ball of radioative glass.
Yours,
Aunt PBW.

Re: The Grudge-Match of Doom - (trashtalk/game progress)
Slynky, do you want to send me your password?
I think I have done the turn and stuff.
When did you guys offer the trade and how? Was it a gift or trade?
Mark's empire log does not have any gift recieved/sent traded Messages.
Edit: Slynky, let me know what research you expect to recieve or something in the next turn so I can be sure that I'm looking at the next turn

Re: The Grudge-Match of Doom - (trashtalk/game progress)
Sorry, Joachim...I wasn't sure you had all the turns (or, for that matter, that everyone had sent them)...so we watched a family movie ("Fluke").
If you have Mark's PW, then he should have received BC hull. If he didn't receive anything, then running it off PBW didn't make any difference...and we should just continue with trying again. It was a trade he offered and I accepted.
(just sent you my PW).

Looks like running the turn offline has not helped the situation

Thanks, Joachim, for giving it a go. It was worth a try to see if it was PBW.
Best thing to do now is continue the game.

Re: The Grudge-Match of Doom - (trashtalk/game progress)
Turn done. Trade accepted (again)...crossing fingers.
Primitive, I guess you took a turn to clean your windshield from our Last encounter...without the orgs included from Mark's failed trade, I'm afraid I only have enough stuff available to smear the glass on your ships once again.
