Well, it was barely able to eek out a victory. You attacked the place with the most ships (except for over near Jethanis) so that was lucky for me.

Speaking of sandbagging, I'll consider you dangerous at any point of the game, Primitive! You're too smart to ever daly with.

Meanwhile, on the eastern side of the war, Mark is wiping Alneyan colonies and Alneyan is wiping Mark colonies. And both are embroiled in a battle of names (LOL).

Well, let's let them have fun. They are both reckless people endangering our game of safe play.

), if I had some planets to work with in the beginning, you'd be trying to bluff your way into Jethanis...and forget those other places you managed to settle...there were no gas planets for me to take!

As soon as we get Replicant centers, we can start on some more weapons to take ground with. Give us 15 more turns (please) and lets see how pop growth can help our production out. (OK, it's not polite to beg, is it?)

BTW, I'll be capturing some breathers from you, if I predict correctly, in 4 turns. Just a fair warning for a foe I admire.

It will happen sooner or later anyway. Be carefull so you don't accidentally glass the planets instead of capturing them. I have had a bit of time to put up defences you know

Looks like we may need to come to a decision on the status of this game, guys. Mark is (1) too busy to play, (2) engrossed with another game--as he mentioned (3) sorry he got into a game with me as a partner or (4) all of the above.

He doesn't answer my emails so I'm not sure what's up.

I feel, hmmmm, like I shouldn't recommend an outcome for the game as it relates to the Ratings. Actually, it's a hard one to call on winning (in my opinion). Though we lead in points, I know you guys have some Talisman ships built and being built (plus my breathers). I hate to give away our ship count as Mark might decide to continue. I also don't want to suggest a well-fought and played game to the current position on your part should be forgotten and the Ratings forgotten.

What do you guys suggest?

Lets just call the game void unless some worthy replacement you are comfortable playing with comes along. To early in the game to worry about the rankings.

Ah, it isn't the trashtalk section of the thread here.

I would say to drop Mark a PM asking him about what he intends to do with this game. If he decides to stop playing here, a replacement would probably be best, or perhaps you could surrender his Empire to you Slynky. While it will allow you a better coordination, you will lose a part of your income as the partnership treaties will be void. That, and other disavantages as well. Or perhaps even something along the lines of "you play both Empires", if no replacement can be found.

As I mentioned, I sent him 2 emails. I got read receipts and that was it.

As to me playing his empire (or joining them), he's a better player than me so there would also be a weakness there (not to mention the weird aspect of Ratings). If I had my wish for a replacement, it would be the "wild" Alneyan (who fits Mark's playing style the best) but, well, that would be even more weird
