Default Re: A bunch of questions

Here goes:

1) The AI has no concept of planet value, only percent of empire devoted to...

2) Rebellion is a possibility... Planets that rebel become their own race...

3) You could compose some lists of your own (please have at least 100 related anmes per file though), as these are simple return character dilimited text files...

4) Oppurtunity fire has been mentioned & probably is a good idea...

5) I wish this could be... I've had a few planets with 6 or 7 stations (space yards & defense stations) & have lost SPace Yards because the battle statiosn were out of range on the other side of the planet...

6) Yes, If we alter the files to make it research & then build ships of that design the AI could use anything the player could... I am not good with the AI code though & so have left AI build ability out (though they do like some of my components...)

7) I would guess it woudl follow either the race style or minister style depending on what it was set to (& it can be set to either)...

8) In a large game (200+ systems), setting the game to randomly create large #'s (it's like an option for 'few', many', 'lots') of both nuetral & conventional empires then you'll get ~14 (7 each from what I've seen)... You can also simply create a few races & set them to run by AI before startign the game to increase the number...
