Trolls likes gold. That is common knowledge.

Magical beings and undead do not cost upkeep IIRC. There is currently no way to tell, but I believe that trolls (ans seatrolls) are the only ones.

Things that you can buy in sites do cost upkeep as upkeep is 1/15 of their initial cost.

Things that you summon by entering a site costs 0.

Trolls, Sea trolls, draconians, black hawks, cross breeding critters require upkeep, do not remember any others right now.
