Hunting efficiency seems to drop when you have too many hunters in a province. I think there's a cap in how much blood you can get out of the turnips . . . err, loyal peasants.

I believe it's 1 Hunter per 1000 people that is effective. The most effective being 5-6k Provinces with 5 Blood Hunters in it. Depending on their levels of blood it will vary your success rate.

That's probably because each hunter is resolved sequentially, and unrest generated by previous hunters penalizes the subsequent hunters.

It also seems to penalize income for that province (due to unrest) before patrollers bring it back down to 0. This dissappointed me a bit in my plans to use a blood 9 fountain of blood and growth 3 with Mictlan.
