Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
The sooner the better, before anyone really gets hosed by having to shift his clams and fetishes...
However, stopping and restarting a game currently appears to result in the gameslot being taken away due to the rush. *sigh*
Hey, Mister Hansen. Buy another computer or three.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
What is the advantage of upgrading exactly?
Are there any serious game play issues that get modified?
Seems like 2.12 is fine for our purposes, unless it puts someone at a significant disadvantage.
Rabe, who hasn't been paying close attention to the new release.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
Well, there is a good number of fixes (including network fixes) so you should take a look at complete list.
The thing is that some of the players may be seeing new patch, then log on to mosehansen site and see that Version there is also 2.14; making him upgrade and play the game on different Version then the rest of us without checking the forums. So, we should upgrade as soon as possible.
I suggest sending an in-game message to everyone that the game will be upgraded to 2.14 after [enter turn number here] turn so that everyone does it at the same time. That way all players will know when they need to go to next Version.

Restarting shouldn't take away a slot, unless you're hit by a bug. And I wish Several unexpected expenses have forced me to delay such plans to winter sometime :-/
I would like an upgrade.. mostly so Jabber notification could go unbroken again. On the other hand, I'm soon dead in all probability

Guys, be aware that I will be out of town on Saturday, so the game may drag a bit this weekend.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
I just happened to watch the hosting by chance, and there were esentially two stale turns:
Karacan/Ryleh &
Pickles/Abysia.
Both nations seem to be alive from the nation statics however, and an occasional stale turn is usually not lethal...
(Plus two stale turn of defeated nations according to the province statistics...)

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
I am still in and it was my Pretender (might as well reveal it). Boy was a surprised. I thought for sure this was an easy victory and then he got jammed into the entrance of the fortifications against a horde of skeletons so no other troops could get through.
No matter, he'll be back soon enough, and quite frankly, wasn't relying too much on him.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
Karacan has basically disappeared - he had gone away for what was supposed to be less than a week, returning the 25th of October or so. Never came back, hasn't replied to email, etc ( I was subbing 2 games for him, but hadn't in any way signed up for the long run ).
