Re: CD Music
I never tried it myself, but someone posted once that if you put a differnt music CD in your drive while playing the game, it would play those songs instead. Sounds kind of cool. Someone mentioned using a soundtrack from a scifi movie or something ike that to add a different feel to the game.

Yes, I READ through the Settings.txt file. I saw that you could customize the tracks played, but I still can't figure out why the game doesn't play the background music. There's an allow CD music parameter, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I set it to true, and then to yes, and it still doesn't want to play the music.

Re: CD Music
I wasn't replying to your first post, Fyron, but to the other questions in the thread.

Oh, ok. Never mind then.
I still need to find out how to play the CD music in the game, though.

Re: CD Music
quote: Are you sure the first track is Track 2? I just looked at the CD and it starts on Track 1.
He said Track 2 is the first music track. I suspect Track 1 is game data; I remember another game that had a warning in the tech manual not to try to play Track 1 as audio, but I can't recall what game it was.

I just checked it out and played Track 1, and it was music. Well, it was an audio track, anyways. Wether or not it was "music" is debatable.

Re: CD Music
Most CD players will skip the data track, which is always #1, and play the second track as track 1. But there are some players that will try to play the data track, and either make no noise, or tons of racket, depending on how it is. (older will make noise, usually)
