Tried it as Jordanians. Ended on turn 4. Marginal V. I was hoping maybe it was harder from the other side.

I never tried it that way. One good thought is that getting a marginal from both sides or better is a great indication that it would work well as a two player game.

Thanks, J2K

I tried the Jordanians too. It was interesting, I managed to get a better result a DV. The Jordanian side is a bit easier. This scen is good for introducing people to PBEM giving the Jordanian side to the less experienced player.

Artur.

I would agree. I tried it, Artur, and got a draw. Those Israelis are dead eyes when it comes to shooting.

Its also a good "starter" scenario for those interested in learning about tank warfare and how it is done. One tank fires, one tank moves. It is so replayable, trying various tactics to see what can happen. A good learning tool.

Wild Bill:

Really enjoyed the scenario. I think it says great things about small scale, historically based scenarios. The very cool thing here is that it isolates the battlefield operating systems and allows you to learn and experience the nuances of tactics for in this case two tank platoons of different capabilities maneuvering for an advantage but clearly walking into a possible ambush if the other side gets there sooner. Very nice job! Your scenarios are always fun and instructive (I remember back to the very early days of SP2:WW2 before SP:WAW). I for one would look forward to other small scale combat that isolate an important aspect of combat tactics and allow some lessons to be learned. Thanks again for some serious fun.

My pleasure Paladin! Thank you!

Yes, we'll be doing some more. The small scenario, "Over There," is another quick play using squad level tactics in a quick fight.

There will be more. I agree with you. Those smaller quick play can be educational and a lot of fun.

I appreciate the comments. They are a great encouragement.

By the way, I purchased the old Paladin series on DVD and am really enjoying them...deja vu for real!
