When I first heard about the site I went over to take a look. The forum structure was confusing, colors so dark my eyes were getting sore straining to read, I couldn't make out what was superfluous crap and meaningful information all of which seemed to swirl around the freaking edges of the screen in an ever meaningless madhouse of headache induce s*#&! Since then it has improved a lot; however, I noticed an attack by one member that any of you moderators here would have put a stop to. Instead nothing happened and the poor target of the attack wasn't even in the wrong, the attacker was the one off topic! I will stay here "where everyone knows your name and their always glad you came." Did I misquote that?

OT: Look a flaw in the forum spell checker... i when it should be I.

In truth i didnt check out that forum and do not plan on it. everyone here is rather fine, i find two forums the best that i've ever found. First one being here and second pelicanparts, its a porsche forum so i can fix up my baby:-). But yes this forum has nice colours and is easy to follow, much better than the other ones.

In fairness, you can go into your account preferences and turn off most of the useless stuff.

I think S1st took the path of least resistance in setting up the site. The color scheme is similar to PBW, the forum names were copied from here pretty much verbatim, etc.

I don't think the moderator(s?) there pays all that much attention to the content. I haven't noticed any thread ever being deleted, though a few have been moved.

I don't understand why they just didn't carry the old SFI SE forum over to the new site?

I don't agree that their site has improved a lot; AFAICT it has barely changed at all since it first came online.
