did a search on gifting planets.....

this is it

for in the subject...

question.... when you gift a planet does the population on that planet change to the person you are gifting the planets to..... so they become domed...

No, it just changes ownership, along with everything on the planet (population, units on surface but not those in orbit). No change in population species nor dome status.

Population is a factor that needs to be considered trading atmosphere compatible planets is a good way as is making sure all planets have max populations via proper trasnporting.
