Panther Ausf. D & A
Upper side hull armour: 40mm@40degrees = 52.22mm ~ in game armour value of 5

Panther Ausf. G & F
Upper side hull armour: 50mm@30degrees = 57.74mm ~ in game armour value of 6

Jagdpanther
Upper side hull/superstructure armour: 50mm@30degrees = 57.74mm ~ in game armour value of 6

Possible error is that lower hull armour value is used for Jagdpanther: 40mm@0 degrees.

Good day Nox

Is there an easy formula to caculate how much angle on armour adds? I;m working on some stuff including E100's and me thinks my rule of thumb may be off.

Effective armor = EA
Angle from vertical = A
Plate thickness = P
EA = P x (1/cos A)
